Exercise Pitch Black 2016 Daily Flying Times Wed 3 Aug

***Exercise Pitch Black 2016 Daily Flying Times – Wed 3 Aug***

Flying will commence at 8.30am for the morning wave of missions and aircraft will land at approx 1pm. The second wave of flying will commence at 2.00pm and will land at approx 6.00pm.

Observers may see United States Air Force F-16 aircraft, RAAF F/A-18A Hornet, F/A-18F Super Hornet and PC-9 aircraft, RSAF (Singapore) F-15 and F-16 aircraft, กองทัพอากาศไทย Royal Thai Air Force F-16 aircraft and U.S. Marine Corps F-18C aircraft. The heavy lift aircraft such as C-130J Hercules and C-17A Globemaster will also be flying.

A publicly accessible viewing area is located off Amy Johnson Avenue on the eastern side of RAAF Base Darwin.
