Thai Navy receives two H145M multirole helicopters – with video

The Thai Navy has taken delivery of two Airbus Helicopters H145M multirole helicopters.

The two examples are part of a five aircraft order for the type, says Airbus in a statement.

The two aircraft, which were handed over at Airbus Helicopters’ Donauwörth factory, will stay in Germany during the coming months for pilot training, and be delivered to Thailand in September.

The Thai navy H145Ms are equipped with multi-purpose pylons, cargo hooks, hoists, equipment for search and rescue operations, as well as an internal long-range fuel tank systems. They have the capability of being upgraded for special missions operations.
