Russian official refutes reports on signed contract for S-400 supplies to India

Earlier on Wednesday, some Indian media outlets reported with reference to the Indian defense minister that the contract for delivery of Russian S-400 air defense systems had already been signed

ZHEVSK, April 27 /TASS/. A contract for delivering the Triumph S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to India is not yet concluded, Sergey Chemezov, director-general of the Rostec State Corporation (with which the Oboronexport arms trading firm is affiliated), told journalists on Wednesday.

“The contract has not yet been signed,” Chemezov said.

Earlier on Wednesday, some Indian media outlets reported with reference to the Indian defense minister that the contract for delivery of Russian S-400 systems had already been signed.
